If you like even a slight amount of cushion from the springs of a matress then this isn't the place to stay.. stayed two nights and got very minimal sleep due to how hard and uncomfortable the bed was. The staff were lovely but this hotel is not made for comfort. Rooms are minimal and small for 2 people.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. In the room we stayed the bathroom had both shower area and bathroom tub, both isolated by a glass wall and glass door, see the photos. I requested a high floor and they put us in the last one, which has amazing view of Hiroshima. The hotel is across the street from the Hiroshima station, excellent location. If you have JR pass, JR offers a touristic bus that covers all touristic sites and all touristic bus lines departs/ends at Hiroshima station, that is why the hotel location is so convenient. There is also an 7-eleven store in the ground floor.

Reception is on 13th floor. 7-E on ground floor, Lawson on building next to it. Room was clean, a little cramped but ample space to move about. Got the smoking room as non-smoking was fully booked (smelled of cigarette smoke - get the the spray for cigarette smoker to kill the smell). Fast Internet. Very good breakfast selection - I liked the sardine tempura. Coffee to go. Washing/dryer machine on 15th floor. Good room amenities

Rooms are tiny, not enough space for two people and especially not luggage. Bizarrely the bathroom is really big so maybe you can unpack your stuff there? Breakfast buffet was good with nice views of the city.
